Writing a memoir is frustrating for new writers. Although it mainly relays a life-changing account of life attaining an interesting and fun format often confuse a writer in composing his masterpiece. An effective composition should be able to keep readers hanging for the next chapter to fully deliver its message. It often depicts a story about survival and inspiration but it is also an enjoyable recollection of personal events often shared and published.

This brief and personal compilation of events aims to entertain and educate others regarding the various aspects of life. This can be achieved if the writer is able to follow a specific theme. An outline is useful in composing an effective and even lucrative literature. Jotting down the chronological details ensure that you would not miss out anything important. This also helps one organize the flow of your narration.

Knowing your audience can be vital in making it effective and even lucrative. Heir interest. Be keen to details. Make sure you are using the proper grammar and spelling. It would also be important to constantly check for accuracy especially when using facts. The slightest mistake can affect your credibility.

Refrain from using personal jokes. If a must, explain it well. Readers would definitely get confused once they come across the statement. Its your duty as a writer to make them understand. A brief line about the origin of this statement may be needed to keep the readers interest.

Be open-minded. You cannot expect everyone to like your masterpiece. However be cautious to hear them out. Noting their reviews regarding your work can be your steppingstone in improving your craft. Surely you can always right another one in the future right?

Writing a memoir is like writing a diary. The only difference is your opening it to the public. It yearns to inspire others, entertain them and possibly educate them towards achieving a better life. It takes practice to compose a lucrative literature. So grab that pen and paper and start composing a draft. You would never know your effectiveness as a writer unless you try it firsthand.
